It was very interesting and informative to read about psychotherapy and its benefits; I also enjoyed the example pictures. I think this goes to show the importance in arts, specifically when crossing over with medicine.

I think that the arts in general are extremely important especially for self expression and helping yourself through difficult times. Creating art can be incredibly calming, so I am not totally surprised how effective art therapy is.

It's really interesting to see how expression through art can be so therapeutic. I never knew AT could be so powerful, but after reading up on the topic it certainly seems to be a great way to get through obstacles. I'm interested in how the professional field of AT will change as time goes on!

Hey Minjee! The idea of art therapy is super interesting to me, for I have never heard much about it. I think researching alternative forms of therapy is vital to find various ways for people to learn and cope with difficult things, like PTSD as you mentioned. This is definitely a field that should continue to expand.
