I really enjoyed reading this poster. As someone who is interested in veterinary medicine, I find this very informative and helpful. I've heard a lot about suicide and depression rates and how high they are in the veterinary industry, which is strange because it does not seem to be reflected in the statistics shown here. In some way, it is comforting.

This poster presents a unique topic that should definitely get more attention. A friend of mine works as a vet tech and has explained the toll it can have. It seems as though veterinarians get overlooked in terms of burnout rates when compared to similar medical professions such as physicians and surgeons.

I think that you have an excellent topic and have done a great job presenting your findings in an interesting informative yet concise way. I have never realized the toll that being a veterinarian has on them and how it can be very depressin.

I think that this topic is vital to research. Many people don’t realize the stress and burnout that can result from this kind of profession. I’m happy to hear you still wish to pursue this career! Take care of yourself and your stress!

Hi Geetha! I really love your research question. It is extremely interesting and unique and I feel like this has not been talked about enough. Having many friends who aspire to be veterinarians, I am excited to tell them about your research! I also love the amount of evidence and people interviewed/surveyed you used to support your claims.
