Hey Lisa,

I really like how your poster looks and what It conveys. I agree that therapy should not be something people are scared to go to because they would think something is wrong with them. I think it is great that you are promoting GCC through various social media platforms to get out the positive message about trying out therapy.

Hi Lisa!

I think it’s awesome that you created an Instagram and Pinterest account. It allows the center to broaden their outreach by being on more platforms. I love how you were able to work your way up on the job, from making weekly posts to joining administrative meetings! It shows that those you worked with really viewed you as an asset to the center. It’s great how you were able to intern in a career field you plan to be in!

Hi Lisa! The Gaithersburg Counseling Center seemed like an amazing opportunity for you. I think you would make a great psychologist because you are such a great peer mentor! I think it's amazing that you want to work with with underserved populations because there is such a lack of mental health resources for these population.

Hi Lisa, I think it is wonderful that you got the opportunity to learn about the counseling profession along with educating audiences about accessing mental health services. The work you are doing through your practicum is really important and it is wonderful that you are gaining experiences you can use for your future career endeavors.

Hi Lisa! Your practicum experience sounds really interesting and rewarding. It's great that you were able to reach out to the general public about relatable issues and reassure them that they aren't alone in battling this and that therapy/ counseling can help!
