This was a really interesting presentation! I was glad to see some reflection about being a TA to inform people about what being a teaching assistant is like. It's especially helpful that you did Biology since that's most likely a class I would want to TA in.

This seemed like a cool experience, and i'm glad you enjoyed it! As someone who has done a lot of teaching before, I definitely agree that lesson planning is rather time consuming. This may be something I do before I graduate.

I thought you're practicum was very impactful, as I know there are some classes I would not have survived in without the extra help from TAs. I liked your reflection about what you liked and disliked about the experience, especially in the age of COVID and zoom. It was nice to see that you were able to connect with some students and watch them grow.

Hey Alexa, I thought your practicum was very unique and important! Helping students really understand molecular and cell biology is so important as it is the foundation for everything after. I also think it's notable that you were able to properly execute this in an online environment :)

Hey Alexa, it's great to hear that you were able to TA for BSCI170 and help students understand molecular and cell biology. I agree that it is different trying to make more connections and be as helpful when the class is virtual but from your presentation I can tell that you were dedicated to being there for your students which is amazing!
